Writing Contest

In a spur of the moment desire to read something new, I decided to create my own creative writing contest. I would like anyone who desires to have their work on this blog to enter a fictional story. I will probably have several of these but this one will be focused around humor. Tell me a funny story, it can be fictional or creative non-fiction, but it needs to be written well. Please don't go over 500 words. The deadline will be February 1st. I will choose a winner and a runner up. Both will be posted on the blog and I will attempt to illustrate a picture of some kind for the winner's story. Please feel free to enter. The guidelines are:

-No more than 500 words
-Has to be humorous and creative
-Cannot involve anything immoral or questionable
-Clean of all immoral actions and fowl language
-Deadline: 2/1/09

Please include the name you wish to have attached to your piece and an e-mail address to reach you by. Please only submit stories to this e-mail, if you have any questions, comment on this blog. You may submit the story in the body of the e-mail (don't forget the title and name) or you can attach it as a MS word or Word Perfect (preferred if you have it) document.
